After I read the elle collection magazine for spring summer 2010, there was an article mentioned about “Fashion New Media”. I have been thinking is it a good thing to have live fashion shows online and putting the famous bloggers on the front row? Interesting topic. As the exclusivity is always what makes everyone curious about this fashion industry, is it good to be let the exclusivity open to public? Will the exclusivity fading and everyone can buy the seat and sit on the front row on fashion shows? It needs to be a line for that. I think the fashion industry always need to have that exclusivity to make this industry become a secret and special. Anyway, I think its good to have something fast and attracts you to buy instantly but I think its not a long term marketing strategy.

As last time I used gold pins, this time I use hair clips instead. I found that when the hair clips tidy and neat clip together, you barely recognize them. It is something fun to do and I transformed it as a leather cuff. As in Dior Fall 2009 show, they clipped like few hundreds on the model’s hair, stunning.

Step Up

Ok, its basically a year ago photo when I did my exchange to UK during London fashion week fall 2009 but its still feel very fresh to me. I really want something like this for my shoe closet. It makes me higher but not in a punk and goth way, how nice is this balance.

As I did the gold-pin bow tie brooch for a long time, I saw a collection that used that for the embroidery in Copenhagen fashion week – David Andersen. Nice and cleanly done. I quite love what they execute.

As a reminder, you can also order this gold-pins bow tie brooch in my shop. :)
